ACTIVE COVID-19 CASES IN ZAMBOANGA CITY TRIMMED DOWN TO 143!
Twenty (20) new recoveries and 6 new cases were logged reducing the number of ACTIVE COVID-19 CASES to 143, as of July 30, 2021.
Confirmed COVID-19 cases for Zamboanga City now stands at 12,094 with 11,354 recoveries.
Death toll remains at 597, as no new mortalities were recorded.

Joint Task Force Central launches preemptive military operations against terrorists in Central Mindanao!
Camp Navarro, Calarian, Zamboanga City – May 24, 2022 The Western Mindanao Command’s Joint Task Force Central launched preemptive military operations to prevent the Daulah Islamiyah-Turaifie Group (DI-TG) led by Esmael Abdulmalik, a.k.a. Abu Turaifie, from harassing communities after they were sighted in Sitio Patawali, Barangay Ganta, Datu Salibo, Maguindanao on Monday morning, May 23, 2022. The newly installed JTF Central Acting Commander, Brig. Gen. Eduardo Gubat confirmed that an armed confrontation transpired between the troops of the 6th Infantry Battalion and an undetermined number of DI-TG members at the abovementioned barangay. “Our troops from the 6th Infantry (Redskin) Battalion under Lt.
