Camp Navarro, Calarian, Zamboanga City – May 24, 2022 The Western Mindanao Command’s Joint Task Force Central launched preemptive military operations to prevent the Daulah Islamiyah-Turaifie Group (DI-TG) led by Esmael Abdulmalik, a.k.a. Abu Turaifie, from harassing communities after they were sighted in Sitio Patawali, Barangay Ganta, Datu Salibo, Maguindanao on Monday morning, May 23, 2022.
