Camp Navarro, Calarian, Zamboanga City – May 24, 2022 The Western Mindanao Command’s Joint Task Force Central launched preemptive military operations to prevent the Daulah Islamiyah-Turaifie Group (DI-TG) led by Esmael Abdulmalik, a.k.a. Abu Turaifie, from harassing communities after they were sighted in Sitio Patawali, Barangay Ganta, Datu Salibo, Maguindanao on Monday morning, May 23, 2022. The newly installed JTF Central Acting Commander, Brig. Gen.
